Tenderloin Connect

Tenderloin Connect (TLC) is a volunteer-driven outreach program that sends small teams directly into Single Room Occupancy (SRO) buildings throughout the Tenderloin to build intentional, long-term relationships with some of the most isolated and vulnerable people in San Francisco. We believe real change begins with real connection. Many of our neighbors live in deep relational poverty—cut off from community, support systems, and a sense of belonging. TLC brings light into those places by simply showing up, week after week, to listen, share time, and be present. We don’t wait for people to come to us—we go to where the need is greatest. Our goal is to connect residents not only to services and support, but to lasting friendships and the hope of the Gospel community.
