Every day, we open our doors to serve our neighbors, our students and our outreach teams. It's a big job, and we can't do it alone. The activities below are for local bay area volunteers who make it possible for us to continue engaging our city with a loving God. If you live outside the bay area check out our summer-of-service opportunities, or join us as a mission builder.

Every Thursday
1:00 – 4:00 pm
Tangibly share the love of God by providing fresh groceries to low-income households in the Tenderloin!
Volunteers will help to set up the room, manage food stations, language interpretation, and assist with clean-up.
The Ellis Room
Every Monday, Tuesday Wednesday, and Friday
10:30 – 4:30 pm
Join us in creating space for our neighbors to access resources and engage with community.
Volunteers will sit and talk with our neighbors in the Ellis Room, help serve coffee, facilitate showers, manage donations, and more.
Hot Chocolate Ministry
Every Friday
6:45 – 9 pm
Head out onto the streets to serve hot chocolate to the homeless in the Tenderloin neighborhood.
As you serve, you'll have the opportunity to connect with, pray for and share the Gospel with our neighbors.

Bring Church to the streets!
During COVID-19 shelter-in-place, many unhoused and low-income neighbors had no church to attend due to lack of virtual access. Now, we bring church to where they are. You can bring the love of Christ to the streets of the Tenderloin.
Every second and fourth Sunday of the month

TLConnect is a volunteer-led outreach into SRO buildings in the Tenderloin. We build consistent, intentional relationships with residents facing deep isolation and relational poverty.
