Mission Adventures is a short-term outreach experience designed for youth groups, church teams, and individuals seeking to encounter God and make a positive impact in the world. At YWAM San Francisco, we invite teams into the heart of the city, the Tenderloin District, where you will see firsthand how the love of Jesus brings hope, healing, and transformation.

When you join a Mission Adventures trip, we will prepare for you with orientation, food planning, housing, and ministry opportunities. Your team can focus on loving God and loving people.

Outreach

You’ll serve in the Tenderloin, partnering with local ministries to feed the hungry, pray for, and encourage neighbors on the street and in the Ellis Room. Share testimonies and the Gospel. Care for vulnerable populations, including families, immigrants, and unhoused people.

Community Living

Your team will stay at our YWAM San Francisco base, located in the heart of the city. You will eat and share the place together with the YWAM staff. We will have a time of devotion and worship together.

Cost

  • $100 per participant per day
    Includes food, accommodation, and ministry supplies.

Feeding Our City with Hope

Every week in San Francisco, more than 300 people line up not just for groceries, but for hope. At the YWAM San Francisco Food Pantry, neighbors are met with fresh food, warm smiles, and the assurance that they are seen and valued. Through our partnership with the SF-Marin Food Bank and the faithful service of volunteers, a simple grocery distribution becomes a powerful expression of love in action.
