Summer of Service

2019 Program DATES: May 20 – August 8

YWAM San Francisco Summer of Service is a 10-week hands-on leadership experience that will empower you for wherever God might lead you. Whether you’re pursuing higher education, entering the workplace, or heading off into local and global missions, you will find yourself equipped to face the challenges of a world in need of Jesus.

This program is a chance for you to engage youth and people experiencing homelessness in an unconventional way. You'll get to host, guide, and serve alongside youth groups from across North America and the world, leading them into the heart of San Francisco in order to reach out and love a marginalized population. This is a chance to form the future of missions by leading the next generation.

Leading teams consists of conducting orientations, guiding debriefs, and taking teams on local outreaches. You will have the chance to participate in outreaches like serving hot chocolate in the streets, sharing sack lunches with people of the neighborhood, serving at soup kitchens, praying for individuals, and engaging the city through prayer walks and much more.

Cost: $1000

(This cost includes meals, housing, transportation while leading teams, leadership training, and ministry expenses for 3 months.)
