“What would it look like if we aligned ourselves individually and collectively with first-order biblical priorities such as reaching people outside the walls of the church (mission), serving the poor and marginalized (mercy), and pursuing a deepening intimacy with God (worship)?”

Barney Wiget, a retired career church planter and pastor, is celebrating the launch of his fourth book: Missional, Merciful, Worshipful Christians and Their Churches: A Study of Luke Chapter Ten that practically equips the people of God to live according to God’s purpose for his Church.

Barney is the author of three previous books: The Other End of the Dark: A Memoir About Divorce, Cancer, and Things God Does Anyway (2016); Reaching Rahab: Joining God In His Quest For Friends (2018); and What on Earth? Considering the Social Implications of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount (2022). Each one is the outcome of years of pastoral experience, his own journey through personal suffering, and serving the poor and marginalized on the streets of San Francisco and Santa Cruz, California.

The night will be filled with celebration, worship, and a conversation with Barney about his prayer for the Church in San Francisco.

In lieu of payment for the ebook, Barney invites readers to support YWAM SF by making a donation of any amount.
