Vision Statement

The vision of YWAM San Francisco is that each person in San Francisco and the Bay Area would know the life-changing love and power of Jesus Christ and that the city would have an influential voice of redemption to the world.

Mission Statement and Objectives

Engaging a city with a loving God by:

• Having an active voice in places of influence.
• Providing opportunities for the young and old to be involved in urban missions.
• Partnering with local churches and agencies for the peace and well-being of the city.
• Working towards the holistic development of individuals.
• Fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves, to bring justice, healing and restoration.
• Bringing the presence of God through creative avenues.
• Reaching the unreached in our city to impact the world.

This last summer was a lot more than I expected it to be, and ended up being one of my favorite summers ever. At the end of my DTS I felt like God was calling me to stay in San Francisco and do a Summer of Service. I couldn't wait to go home after the school and start my "care-free" summer, so at first working the whole summer seemed like it was going to be hard.
