Founded in 1881. God-fearing sea captain Gustavus W. Schroeder established Zion Baptist Church, later to become known as Hamilton Square Baptist Church.

My experience at SOS in San Francisco was by far the best summer I've ever had!  It meant A lot to be to be living in a community setting where the people In June 2007 I joined in a summer of service program at YWAM (youth with a mission) in San Francisco. its was AMAZING. I learned about intercession prayer, leadership skills, God's love and authority, and how to listen to and meditate on God's word.
