Saturday Outreaches

Often times the people in our everyday lives are the hardest ones to reach. Here at Youth With A Mission we are passionate about equipping and empowering those in the local church to reach their communities.

Every Saturday throughout January and February 2011 we will be conducting one day Saturday outreaches open to both individuals and groups who are interested in growing in either prayer, service or evangelism.

We’ll start off with a time of teaching and then go out and apply what we’ve learned into the streets of San Francisco. It is our hope that these outreaches will give locals the skills and confidence to reach their families, friends and neighbors with the gospel as well as build up the churches of the Bay Area.

EVANGELISM NIGHTS

On Friday nights we use hot chocolate as a

tool to show compassion, offer prayer and

evangelize. Come join us!

Every 1st and 3rd Friday: 7pm - 10:30 pm

FREE - No housing included or available.

Limit of 25 participants per night.

PRAYER

Prayer is powerful. That is more than a Christian cliche; it is a fact. Through answering prayer, God has transformed nations, cities and individual. Come for a saturday outreach and together we can learn more about prayer and apply it in creative ways that can both engage our creativity and stretch us spiritually.

SERVICE

There are so many ways to express love for others. One way is by selflessly serving them. Whether it is a kind gesture, providing for another’s needs, or blessing someone in simple ways; service goes a long way toward spreading the gospel and the love of Christ

Let’s grow together in evangelism and then go out and share the hope we have in the Jesus and Him alone.

My experience at SOS in San Francisco was by far the best summer I've ever had! It meant A lot to be to be living in a community setting where the people In June 2007 I joined in a summer of service program at YWAM (youth with a mission) in San Francisco. its was AMAZING. I learned about intercession prayer, leadership skills, God's love and authority, and how to listen to and meditate on God's word.
